Rumana Malik Munmun first came into the limelight when she participated in Lux Channel-i Superstar 2006. A warm and lively personality both on and off screen, she has been active in theatre and acting from a young age. Currently, she appears on the serial Dainik Tolpar (on Channel-i) and has finished shooting for a few other single-episode plays.When asked about her character in the serial, Munmun said, “My role in Tolpar is of a dedicated worker. To some extent, I find resemblance between myself and this character.” She is also the host of popular talk-show on Banglavision, Amar Ami. She asserts that where acting is all about performing a different character, anchoring gives her the opportunity to reflect shades of her own personality.Munmun is at present studying Business Administration at North-South University, and wishes to pursue a career in business as well. Her mantra for success is dedication and preparation. “There is no shortcut towards and accomplishment. One has to work hard consistently and continue to learn during that process,” she concluded.
